Welcome!

I’m Liz! There’s nothing I’d like better than welcoming you to The Haven here on our beautiful Central Coast of California. My husband and I moved here in 2011 after a lifetime in Orange County. We love the laid-back attitude, ocean breezes, sparkling stars at night not to mention the fresh produce and wineries in the area. When looking for a place to live after our kids were on their own, we knew we didn’t need to look any further than here! We love hiking, kayaking, gardening, we often visit local farms, are members at several of the wineries in the area and frequent small independent stores and restaurants. It is a joy to us to be able to share our little corner of paradise in Arroyo Grande.

We live on the premises in a home separate from where you will be staying. We will be here to guide you to your home away from home. We will show you around, answer questions, help you with dinner or activity suggestions. You tell us how much you want to see us or not at all!

Our home is situated on nine acres, in a very secluded, private location- more than 1/4 mile from the nearest road. It is quiet, in the midst of a forest, away from any other homes- perfect for a “let’s get away from it all” escape.
